Serving suggestion: Season roast on all sides with salt, pepper, and garlic (optional). Place roast in Crock Pot and add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan. Cover. Cook on low for 8-12 hours, until meat can easily be shredded with a fork.
Unsure which roast to purchase?
The arm and chuck typically include a nice bone, which enhances the flavor. The rump is the leanest, and the chuck is the most moist.
